El trabajo establece una taxonom\u00eda y organizaci\u00f3n de los aspectos arquitect\u00f3nicos y urbanos que participaron e hicieron proliferar la violencia urbana desatada en el estallido social de Santiago de Chile 2019. A partir de una narraci\u00f3n cronol\u00f3gica e hist\u00f3rica de los hechos, bajo la mirada del arquitecto, desde la l\u00f3gica del tejido urbano y configuraci\u00f3n de la ciudad hasta el elemento m\u00e1s singular, la Plaza Baquedano. El estudio del caso en particular se intercala con el an\u00e1lisis de referentes hist\u00f3ricos, conceptos globales y definiciones te\u00f3ricas para finalizar acotando la mirada en el estudio del tema en singular y cerrar el c\u00edrculo. La tesis trata de desenmascarar el estado final del espacio urbano de la Plaza Baquedano, se vincula su simbolog\u00eda e historia a la relaci\u00f3n que ejercen la ciudadan\u00eda y el gobierno sobre ella, a modo de esclarecer la metamorfosis del lugar como emplazamiento central de la ciudad a descampado y campo de batalla. The work establishes a taxonomy and organization of the architectural and urban aspects that were part of and caused the urban violence unleashed during the social outbreak of Santiago, Chile in 2019. Based on a chronological and historical narration of the events, under the architect\u2019s gaze, from the logic of the urban fabric and configuration of the city to the most unique element, the Plaza Baquedano. The study of the case is interspersed with the analysis of historical past references, global concepts and theoretical definitions to create a narrowing glimpse on the study of the single subject, closing the circle. The thesis tries to unmask the final state of the urban space of the Plaza Baquedano urban space. Its symbolism and history are linked to the relationship that citizens and the government exercise over it to emphasize the metamorphosis of the place as the central location of the city, wasteland and battlefield.
