The work brings with it the undergrowth of the fungal realm, native trees, springs, and millenary peatlands, and evokes\u2014through the multiplicity of forms in roots and trunk\u2014the traces of lives accumulated in subterranean silence: growing through resistance to finally emerge into light.<\/p>\n<p>In the <strong>Visual Arts Gallery at CAMM<\/strong>, a material dialogue is staged between the <strong>Forest Woman (Cai coi)<\/strong>\u2014braided and woven by Chilo\u00e9 artist <strong>Raquel Aguilar Colivoro<\/strong>, dressed with leaves and birds and suspended in the space\u2014and the <strong>roots<\/strong> alongside a <strong>sectioned canelo trunk<\/strong> installed by <strong>Voluspa Jarpa<\/strong>. The installation builds an encounter between corporeality, territory, and memory, where the organic becomes language and matter operates as narrative.<\/p>\n<p>The work was conceived in the <strong>Contuy region<\/strong> and spatially installed for the <strong>Blue Chapel<\/strong>, curated by <strong>Ram\u00f3n Castillo<\/strong> and <strong>Dan Cameron<\/strong>.
