Missing Files – Classify, number and destroy Series

9 photographs in methacrylate, objects of medium format, printed continuous stationary, wood, printings and four 45 cm X 55 cm bronze plates,

The piece proposes to work with the narrative of document destruction, lists corresponding to metafiles, since they do not exist and lists of documents destroyed, starting from the news which revealed the existence of 40 copybooks in National Archive of Brasilia, detailing the destruction of 19 thousand documents from the Brazilian dictatorship (1964-1985) by the extinct National Intelligence Service (SNI in Spanish).

The piece deals with operations to make these facts visible, starting from three material characteristics: bookbinding of lists, lists themselves, and the incineration of destroyed documents as a metaphor accounting for the possibilities and impossibilities involved in the narration of history.
